Paolo Bironzo is associate professor of Medical Oncology at the University of Torino (Italy). He is a Medical Oncologist and holds a PhD on Complex Systems for Life Sciences. His main research focus are thoracic malignancies, including rare ones. He is the Scientific Secretary of the Italian Association of Medical Oncology (AIOM) clinical practice guidelines on Pleural Mesothelioma and currently chair for Pleural Mesothelioma at the EORTC Lung Cancer Group. He is also an active member of Women Against Lung Cancer in Europe (WALCE) Advocacy.
